Louisville, Kentucky (September 21, 2022) – Net Tango, a full-service technology firm which creates enterprise-level web solutions for business and government organizations, announced today that it has completed the planning, design, development and implementation of a new ‘Project Gratitude’ website for Baptist Health Foundation. ProjectGratitude.com, which launched in March, is a collaboration between Baptist Health Foundation and its communities to better understand the role gratitude can plan or should play in Baptist Health’s culture and in a person’s health journey.
User-Friendly, Welcoming Site Supports Multi-Year Initiative Exploring How Science of Gratitude Impacts a Person’s Health Journey
Net Tango partnered with Baptist Health Foundation on this multi-year website design and development project to celebrate all things gratitude, incorporating the Baptist Health Foundation messaging and branding. The project’s primary goal was to build a user-friendly, colorful, welcoming site to showcase individual stories and insights on gratitude and to give the community an opportunity to follow Project Gratitude through the journey of discovery.
“Net Tango has been a proud partner of Baptist Health for over five years. We were very excited to expand our relationship to include the Baptist Health Foundation through the planning and launch of ProjectGratitude.com,” said Susan Weiss, Net Tango Founder & CEO. “As we celebrate our 25th Anniversary, our years of experience designing and implementing innovative websites for enterprise-level entities helped us build simple, user-friendly systems to help deliver this exciting research concept.”
Net Tango developed a site architecture and content strategy, including wireframing and prototyping, to incorporate relevant Baptist Health Foundation messaging and branding. The new website is built on the latest WordPress CMS and features a mobile responsive design with image optimization and efficient navigation. Other features include custom post types exploring gratitude from the perspective of patients, care providers, their loved ones, and community members and leaders.
According to Claire Sheehan, Philanthropy Communications Manager for Baptist Health, “Net Tango really helped us take this project from concept to reality. Working with their team on the Project Gratitude website was perfect from start to finish. They were very organized, truly listened to us, kept us all on track, and clearly explained the process along the way, making the process so easy and stress-free for our team. The results were even better than we expected, delivering a new site that is beautiful and provides a great user experience. We look forward to working with them again on future projects.”
The website is a key component of Project Gratitude, a multi-phase, multi-year initiative of exploration, inspiration and appreciation for how the role gratitude plays in our health journey. Visitors can learn more about the science and benefits of gratitude and the work of the Baptist Health Foundation and share their own stories through the new ‘Share Your Gratitude’ portal.
“Scientific evidence clearly affirms gratitude not only feels good and inspires us to do good, but is also good for us,” added Sheehan. “In terms of the healing power in gratitude, patients who express gratitude experience health benefits including improved ability to heal, improved immune function, lower blood pressure and more. They are also rewarded with positive mental health benefits including increased happiness, motivation, optimism and reduced stress. We believe that the outcome of this project may educate us on the science of gratitude, connect us through meaningful personal stories and insights, prepare us to act upon our gratitude and may create new relationships or new ways of seeing the world around us.”
