KESA, The Kentucky Workers’ Compensation Fund, was ready to relaunch their brand. They had a new name – ClearPath Mutual – and a new visual identity to accompany it. Now they needed a new website. The only trick was we needed to reuse their existing site structure and content while refreshing the visual design and streamline the site usability.
The new site, built on the same WordPress Content Management System, starts with the foundation of the previous design and focuses more squarely on helping the user find what they need. We stripped out anything that didn’t help the user, from unnecessary images to extra navigation elements, to streamline the user experience. At the same time we took the new brand guidelines and expanded them to a wide variety of components, giving ClearPath a site that will grow with them and their evolving needs.
In addition to the visual and structural overhaul, we updated their current system integrations like SSO (single sign on) for two portals – SAFETY W.O.R.K.S. and a 3rd party training portal – and ensured they continued to operate as expected.
ClearPath is a not-for-profit fund that has been writing workers’ compensation coverage for Kentucky employers for 34 years. With over 7,000 members and more than $56,000,000 in premiums, they are one of the largest and most financially stable providers of workers’ compensation in the state.
